June 25, 2024 Maggie Daley Park Ship

Today's inspiration comes from a visit to one of our favorite play spots in Chicago, the large ship at Maggie Daley Park. When we were new to Chicago, this was a regular place for us to visit, so it has a bit of sentimental value to us. While we were struggling to adjust to a new city, we knew visiting here would bring happiness to our kids, which brought happiness to us. This ship was central to each of our visits, especially with pirate children.

Today we had a very very very special guest, Owen! Yes, the same Owen that drew the bird from yesterday's Give Yourself a Hug cat drawing.
